If you’re excited by complex challenges and strategic growth — we’re hiring at multiple levels.
At Merima, we don’t just take on projects — we solve problems before they surface. As part of our Sales and Marketing team, you’ll work directly with yards, shipowners, operators, and our internal experts to drive customer success, build long-term relationships, and shape solutions that stand the test of time. We’re currently hiring for multiple levels based on your experience — from junior talent eager to grow, to experienced professionals ready to lead strategic customer accounts.
What you’ll do
Depending on your experience and role level, your focus will be on driving long-term customer success and value through collaboration and execution excellence. You will:
- Take ownership of designated customer accounts, ensuring their long-term satisfaction and growth.
- Identify opportunities that deliver real business value to the customer.
- Lead and/or execute proposal preparation and contract structuring, ensuring competitive positioning and commercial clarity.
- Collaborate across project, procurement, technical, and executive teams to ensure seamless, aligned delivery.
- Contribute to commercial planning, pricing strategy, and negotiation preparation to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Depending on your level, take part in — or lead — executive-level discussions on customer business development and long-term partnerships.
What we offer
- A clear development path: Jr. → Account Developer → Key Account Developer.
- Mentorship from senior sales leaders and cross-functional experts.
- Hands-on experience in some of the world’s most extraordinary shipbuilding, refurbishment, and superyacht projects — the kind you’ll be proud to have been part of.
- A chance to build strong commercial and customer leadership skills in a globally active, family-owned company.
- A team that believes in real learning — through action, fast feedback, and constant improvement.
What we’re looking for
Junior-level:
- Strong motivation to learn value-based account development and structured sales execution.
- Some initial experience or education related to business, sales, or project work.
- Curiosity to understand customer needs and ability to grow into consultative customer discussions.
- Basic understanding of B2B project business or strong willingness to build it rapidly.
- Readiness to adapt to and grow within a high-performing, development-driven company culture.
Mid-level:
- Proven ability to manage customer communications, identify opportunities, and coordinate proposals.
- Experience in supporting contract structuring, pricing strategy, and negotiation preparation.
- Solid understanding of B2B project sales dynamics, customer organizations, and buying processes.
- Ability to work systematically across project, procurement, technical, and sales teams.
- Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with high expectations.
Senior-level:
- Demonstrated track record in leading complex customer relationships and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Experience in building and executing long-term strategic account plans.
- Deep competence in navigating B2B project business models, understanding technical-commercial impacts.
- Ability to lead executive-level customer discussions and influence strategic development.
- Personal drive and resilience to succeed in a high-performing, continuously evolving culture, balancing commercial ambition with operational excellence.
