As a Key Account Developer, you will drive the growth and commercial success of strategic customer accounts. You will help our customers identify new opportunities, make better investment decisions, and build successful projects. You will lead complex sales initiatives from opportunity identification through negotiations and long-term agreements.

In this role, you will:

• See beyond the request. Understand your customers’ business and decision-making processes, identify new opportunities, and develop strategic accounts with a long-term perspective.
• Challenge what is possible. Question established solutions and help customers make better decisions by introducing new perspectives and alternatives.
• Turn opportunities into profitable growth. Expand the business potential of key accounts and lead significant sales opportunities, negotiations, and contracts in a profitable manner.
• Bring the best of Merima together. Connect Merima’s experts and capabilities around the customer’s objectives and ensure the best solutions are created through collaboration.
• Build relationships that last. Build trust, influence customer decision-making, and develop partnerships whose value continues to grow from project to project.

• We are looking for a commercially minded professional who sees beyond individual projects and knows how to make things happen.
• You have experience in demanding B2B solution and value-based sales, strategic account development, and managing significant commercial opportunities.
• You know how to influence customer decision-making, build relationships with senior executives, and negotiate agreements that balance customer value, risk management, and profitable business outcomes.
• You can lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries and leverage customer insights, market intelligence, and data to drive commercial decision-making.
• You are curious, willing to challenge constructively, and ambitious in delivering results. You take ownership, keep your promises, and understand that meaningful success is never achieved alone.
• The role requires a relevant commercial or technical education, fluency in Finnish and English, and willingness to travel internationally.
