The production team at Merima has been accredited to fabricate Corian® products in-house. As a Corian® Design Quality Network Partner, we can efficiently produce solutions for complex interior shipbuilding projects, and at a lower cost for our clients.
Being an official Corian® Design Quality Network Partner means that Dupont Corian® has independently evaluated the quality of our work, tools, processes, and fabrication.
QNP Fabricators are trusted experts with state-of-the-art training and knowledge in terms of fabrication and installation of Corian® Solid Surface. Merima has been specially chosen to be part of this premium network.
This extends our ability to deliver projects agilely, scalably, and cost-efficiently, as everything from design to implementation can happen in-house and is fully optimized for delivery. Producing Corian® in-house ensures we get things right the first time and with no hidden surprises.
Corian® is a unique composite material made from a blend of natural minerals and pure acrylic polymer, developed by DuPont in the USA, and has been on the market for over 50 years. The incredible durability and repairability of Corian® is perfect for projects where long-lasting worksurfaces, furniture, and fitouts are required – such as kitchens, bathroom worktops, sinks, and countless other applications.

Corian® can be shaped into almost any form, can be worked like hardwood, and can also be thermoformed. Seams are finished to be virtually invisible and are tight and durable.Long counters, for example, can be made easily in lightweight pieces in a workshop and then joined together at the installation site. As Corian® cannot delaminate and fluids cannot penetrate, this makes it an excellent choice for surfaces and spaces where hygiene is critical.
Corian® can easily be reworked to adapt to a new worktop layout or repurposed into new products. Damage caused by abuse can usually be repaired on site without having to completely replace the material. It can also be thermoformed, engraved, or backlit, allowing designers to experiment with luminosity and form.
In the future, this accreditation means Merima can offer brand new services and products to a wider array of private customers.
